Solutions architecture & fractional CTO
A technical lead who maps how your business actually runs and designs the systems to support it, without a full-time hire.
Paradox Development · Solutions architecture & software
doxDev designs, builds, and documents the systems small and mid-size teams run on: workflow automation, custom software, data foundations, practical AI, and custom websites you can edit yourself. We work in any industry, and we build it to be yours.
Why doxDev
Most teams don't have a technology problem. They have tools that don't talk to each other, processes that live in one person's head, and hours lost every week to copy-paste and chasing status.
Our job is to find where that friction compounds, design something better, and build it so it keeps working after we leave.
Services
We're strongest at seeing how the pieces connect, and we don't stop at the diagram.
A technical lead who maps how your business actually runs and designs the systems to support it, without a full-time hire.
Your tools talk to each other, and nobody re-keys the same data three times.
When off-the-shelf doesn't fit, we build what does, at the right weight for the problem.
One place where your operational data lives, stays clean, and can be reported on and queried.
AI that is part of a governed system, not decoration.
Websites
We design and build your site around what you do, then hand you the keys. Most sites go live within just a few days of getting your content.
From a $500 launch and $10/month hosting.
Custom, not a template
Show us sites you like and we build yours to look that way. No theme picker, no drag-and-drop builder to wrestle.
Your words are yours to change
Update text, photos, and blog posts yourself, any time, free. No ticket, no invoice, no waiting on a developer. We handle layout and design.
Hard to break
Your edits can't take the site offline, and 90 days of page history means any change can be undone.
Approach
Every engagement follows the same arc, scaled to the size of the problem.
Find where work stalls, duplicates, or depends on one person.
Agree on what to keep, what to replace, and what “done” looks like.
Ship small, working pieces early instead of one big reveal.
SOPs, runbooks, and naming the next operator can follow.
Stay through the edge cases until the new way holds.
What holds no matter the project, the tools, or the budget.
Your accounts, your data, your code. If we part ways, you walk away with everything and nothing to untangle.
If only one person understands it, it isn't finished.
Adoption is part of the job, not an afterthought.
Every automation logs what it did, and failures are loud, not silent.
We use AI deliberately and keep client data out of AI tools unless it's explicitly safe and approved.
Working across industries and toolsets means every project teaches us something, and every client gets the benefit. Your work stays yours; what carries forward is the know-how, because good systems shouldn't be reserved for companies with an IT department.
A defined problem, scope, and finish line.
An ongoing architect and builder on call.
A working session to map your systems and leave with a plan.
Industries
The patterns underneath are the same everywhere: disconnected tools, manual handoffs, knowledge trapped in people's heads. Here's where we've done the work.
Automation, AI assistants, and self-service sites for independent presses and authors.
Local Link Leagues, our community game-league platform, live at a Minneapolis brewery.
RePourT: event scheduling, brand approvals, and split billing for brand reps.
Enterprise automation and data governance at a Fortune 500 financial firm.
The patterns transfer. Law firms, advisors, dealerships, agencies, nonprofits: if you're not sure you're a fit, ask. We'll tell you honestly.

About
I'm hospitality-raised, FinTech-scarred, and process-obsessed. After years leading automation and systems work inside a Fortune 500 financial firm, I left to do this full-time: design and build the systems that let small teams stop fighting their tools and get back to the work that matters.
I'm at my best seeing how the pieces connect, then making sure what we build is documented, owned by the client, and still working a year later. I care about the people who have to live inside the system as much as the architecture underneath it.
